You Oughta See Me Naket: Life after eighty - a seriously funny report from the slippery slope by Ed Bartlett isn't a must read at all. It's a HAVE to read for all. Make sure you have your seatbelt on because you're going on one fun, outrageous ride. Once you open the book, it will grab you and hold you down and you'll lose time as the pages turn and turn and turn some more. Before you know it you're on the last page. Then you'll want to re-read it again to make sure you read what you read. You'll start off with a smile, then a chuckle, a laugh then here comes that laughter because the memoir is hilarious with just the right amount of seriousness thrown in. Ed Bartlett proves that getting old is not so bad and being old shows you that life is for living. As you read this book, you will be on a great journey through the aging process. This book is not just for elders to read. It's for everyone because one day we all will be an elder. I gave this book 5 stars but it really deserves at least 10+ because it is that good. I think it needs to be made into a movie. I highly recommend this book for everyone who wants to see what the future might hold for them or just wants a good laugh or two. I also look for more fantastic books from Ed Bartlett.

I Liked It!

As we grow old things happen and sometimes if you look at it a certain way you can't help but laugh. To me this is what this book is all about. Moving along in life, taking risks when maybe you should not have, suffering though ailments yet keeping your giggle, and well just being older. This brought a new view once again, brought me some laughs and also some mixed up emotions. However, I also have to say it did make me do some thinking. Perhaps keeping our sense of human during our aging years is where the victory is won. Attitude seems to be the secret to happiness, or is it? Good read that will definitely give you a giggle and definitely rethink aging. I liked it. Book received for a honest review

A Tremendous read.

In confirming the Editors Review of this Book I join him in every word. I had difficulty in putting it down and devoured this within two days. If you are still young it will prove that getting old is not all bad and if you are old it will show you that life is for living. I enjoyed this so much that if ever this reaches the Silver Screen, I want to play the part of the Author.
