Good Practice

This book is mostly for practicing layout. There's a few good tricks, but mostly it builds on what you've learned in other books in the series. I also think building the tables may be more complicated than necessary, though it's good practice for earlier lessons. And, I'm not crazy about the dashboards, especially the finance one--it seems awfully cluttered to me and not a good example.

This book was written in a way that makes it simple and easy to understand. It helps, though, if you have an understanding of a few excel functions like VLookup, Offset, etc. I went through the book in one evening, because the Author made it very interesting and you can't beat the price. Very good book. You are certain to learn something, even if you are the office Excel guru.

This book gets you a good foundation to getting started with dashboards. It's a bite size lesson, easily digestible and had even one or two new items for long- time excel users. However, don't expect depth for this price ..
