Wonderful and insightful book about communicating with others in various situations. If you want to learn more about how to communicate better, why we communicate the way we do, and the various ways we communicate with different people, in different situations, and different environments. Good advice!

I love this book because it has good advice and it’s easy to read. There are plenty of examples of dialog. I keep this and work. Sometimes I just open it up and read a couple of paragraphs. It helps me. The title is also a good reminder. I want to keep building bridges, not burn them down. Words work for me. This book has helped me refrain from using destructive language. I didn’t read it cover to cover. I just open it up and read parts of it. The first time I borrowed it from the library. I wanted a copy to of my own to read from time-to-time.
